During this meeting we got a deeper insight into the structure of DNA. We worked together in small groups constructing a DNA-ladder (which group would manage to get the longest?) and combining it into a huge "Erasmus+-ladder".

During the Erasmus+ 2026 week in Vienna we carried out an experiment on genetic fingerprinting (cutting of DNA using RFLP enzymes and separation by electrophoresis) in internationally mixed small groups. We learned about the theoretical background of the experiment by presentations hold by students, shooting a video and constructing a model of the experiment. The experiment was completed by an intense discussion of the results.

Mit dem Programm „Model United Nations“ (MUN) hatten dieses Jahr acht Schüler*innen der 8. Klassen die Möglichkeit, durch ein modellhaftes Nachspielen einen Einblick in die Funktionsweise der Vereinten Nationen zu gewinnen. Jede und jeder von uns erhielt ein Land, das wir während der Konferenz vertreten mussten. In verschiedenen Komitees wurden Lösungsansätze zu globalen Sicherheitsfragen diskutiert.
